Boca Chica is a town 30min east of Santo Domingo.
Boca Chica is known for a beautiful beach and for the parties.
The Town is very small an offers many restaurants. It's mainly tourist that go here.
When the sun sets many restaurants turn to bars and play music.
This is a place where some Dominican women will try to offer their "services" to tourists. So be aware of that.
There are many parking spots in the town.
Boca Chica has two very nice beaches. One beach is owned by the Hotel Club Rolling Stones, which I don't know if you can go to without paying. The other beach is the Public Beach Boca Chica. It's a small and beautiful, but a bit crowded beach.
You can get served on your sun bed by one of the restaurants and spend your whole day on the beach.
Nevertheless a very beautiful beach. The beach itself is very shallow so you are able to walk in hip high water for 300-400ft (100-130m). The beach is protected by a reef, so there will be almost no waves here.
All in all a very nice but touristic town with a beautiful but busy beach.
