Whale watching off the Northwest coast of Maui.
An amazing experience for every animal lover a nature enthusiast.
The whale watching season is from November to May, with its peak in January to March.
On the peak season many Whale Watching Tours offer a grantee that you will see the Humpback Whales.
We went to Lahaina and booked with Ultimate Whale Watching. This was a great tour I can only recommend it.
Lahania is one of the more touristic areas in Maui.
It has a lot of shops where you can buy authentic souvenirs and clothes.
There are a lot of restaurants in the town as well.
You will get on a boat and drive out to the spots where the guide know Whales will be present.
There will be Humpback Whales getting air on the surface of the water and sometimes even jump out of the water. There is a good chance you will even see a Humpback Whale Calf.
The tour will take 2-3 hours and the guides are very friendly and informative.
The captain will look out very carefully to not disturb the Whales, as regulations are very strict in Hawaii due to its nature friendly attitude. Which is a great thing.
A truly magical experience to see the big Wales that close.
